I a schleepy puppy (Day 37)

I schleepy.

Yogi cuddled right into me last night. Apart from when he thought he could sneak onto the pillows - he was just getting himself more fully on them and comfortable when he woke me up. That's one thing I don't like - animals on the pillows. Up that end of the bed that's fine but not on my pillows. It's a personal thing. I know other people love animals on their pillows.

Took him down the dog park again this evening, (and yesterday. He's a spoilt puppy.)

We saw so many puppies today. Deigo, Pepe, Lucy amongst others. I stopped patting Lucy the Golden Retriever for just a moment and suddenly I was flashing back to when I was a kid and had a dog called Coffee. Mum refused to name the next one biscuits. I think it would have been hysterical yelling out "Coffee!! Biscuits!!"

Anyway, when you stopped patting Coffee and he wasn't ready for you to stop he would slip his head under your hand and sort of toss it with his snout so it would land on the back of his head for more scratches. Ruby did that today.

It's really nice down there. I've met some lovely people. I'm going to try and take Yogi down there more regularly. But, Jax, the Belgian Shepard. He was only there for about 10 mins and he wore the other dogs up. Yogi finally met someone he couldn't keep up with. It was funny watching all of them run around in circles trying to keep up with Jax.

Watching Jack try to keep up was so cute. He's a Maltese and watching him trying to keep up with the others was pretty funny. Also watching Jax jump over him was impressive.

*sigh* Camera again.

Poor Yogi, the flash was bugging him when he was trying to sleep.

It's been such a good day though. He loves it down with his friends. He was all blitzed out though at the end of the hour and a half we were there. Just don't tell Mummy that he's covered in mud again.

Sometimes you have to randsom the tennis ball (Day 35)

Yogi's been full of beans today. He's crashed out on the recliner right now. So cute. Exhausted no doubt from all that chasing.

Umm, Aunty Anne.

 That's, umm, mine.

Yeah, that. That's my ball.
I'll do whatever you want.
Just don't hurt it!

I'd like to announce that 365 Days of Yogi has it's own resident artist, Wolfy. She did this cute little ittybitty icon of Yogi for me. She's a wonderful artist and I can't recommend her highly enough. (Her rates are amazing.) You can see more of her art work on her DA - http://wolfy-t.deviantart.com/

But But, Im better than the cat. (Day 34)

Once again a long day, and Yogi is still being a pain and turning away when I'm trying to get the cuteness that is him.

I have to say though, I prefer him about halfway between this stage and the omg he's matting his fur up he needs a trim. Although, either they sharpened his claws or his fur normally cushions it.

He was such a pain last night. I wanna go out. Why did you open the door? I don't want to go out! Why am I out? I want to come back in. Oh I'm back in but I want to go out... he did not want to be outside at all today. Apart from when Yattie did a Starlock 13 and got himself outside. Then Yogi wanted to be chasing him outside. Their Mum was not very happy - but she reassured Yattie she was still his slave and that he was just as important as the dog. To which Yattie said he wasn't coming inside unless there was grass, liver treats and she got rid of the new dog and if she had to have one he'll have the old one back.

But, alls well that ends well. Both are back inside now.

I'm going for my knot tying badge tonight.

After scouts I'm going down the docks to help
the ships tie up at the dock.

Yeah. Dat's da spot! (Day 31)

I decided this evening to take Yogi down to the dog park. Hoping that we wouldn't meet the same woman from before. Instead we met lots and lots of puppies who were wonderful. Hopefully we'll get to see them again. (Hi Gracie! I figure I have a 50/50 chance of spelling it right.)

We spent a good hour and a half down there. Yogi chased, and got chased a lot. I had one heart stopping moment on the way out when I thought Katt was going to kill me. Then I realised it was just mud on his paw. It was sad that I couldn't turn to Katt and say "Your dog." this time as she wasn't with me. So I had to run off to get the little doggie doo bags that they supply. Yogi ran off after me which was great. It meant he wasn't letting me leave without him. Next time I will think to grab them on the way in.

 Yeah! Late night scratches!
(It was after 12. It counts.)

Yeah, Dat's da spot, Aunty Anne!
Captain, May I?
(I apoligise for the poor quality. It was late at night when I took it.
Yattie really didn't want Yogi up on 'his' table. He had swipinging on his mind.)

But when the Yattie's asleep, all bets are off.

So, yeah despite it being such a horrible start to the day it was such a great ending. I think we met about twelve dogs tonight. So, I know that's a good time to go down in the evening. It did get a bit cold though.

What really did my head in? When we got home... Yogi who had been running around nonstop for an hour and a half... wanted to run around more. I think I wound him up a little bit too much.

Just think one more day of Shaggy Yogi and then its clean shaven Yogi again. You won't believe he's the same dog.

I said to Katt yesterday, 'Did you groom his face?".
"No, he must have done it!"
I could actually see his beautiful eyes properly.
