Der Dum Der Dum Derdumderdumderdum (Day 36)

It's been a busy day. I woke up to a note saying Yogi was with Katt and she'd gone out to visit a friend. He was very happy when he got back, as he's a bit of a celeb when he's outside. I wonder if this blog has gone to his head.
Then I went out and when I got back Katt was gone and Yogi was in the backyard. He was most unimpressed. I remembered it was bin night so went to put them out, he stared at me through the fence and barked a bit. So, I thought I should get today's photos while it was still light.

I did. I'm torn between taking him down the dog park and collapsing in one spot for the night. I know what he'd prefer. Maybe I'll give the deciding vote to Katt - and if she decides against it she can be the guilt laden one.

If I show you my impersonation of JAWS can I come in?

 RAWWRRR!!!

Now, to go with his pirate hat I want to buy him a sharkfin to wear.

But But, Im better than the cat. (Day 34)

Once again a long day, and Yogi is still being a pain and turning away when I'm trying to get the cuteness that is him.

I have to say though, I prefer him about halfway between this stage and the omg he's matting his fur up he needs a trim. Although, either they sharpened his claws or his fur normally cushions it.

He was such a pain last night. I wanna go out. Why did you open the door? I don't want to go out! Why am I out? I want to come back in. Oh I'm back in but I want to go out... he did not want to be outside at all today. Apart from when Yattie did a Starlock 13 and got himself outside. Then Yogi wanted to be chasing him outside. Their Mum was not very happy - but she reassured Yattie she was still his slave and that he was just as important as the dog. To which Yattie said he wasn't coming inside unless there was grass, liver treats and she got rid of the new dog and if she had to have one he'll have the old one back.

But, alls well that ends well. Both are back inside now.

I'm going for my knot tying badge tonight.

After scouts I'm going down the docks to help
the ships tie up at the dock.

That's not a rope... This is a ROPE! (Day 32)

Just got back from seeing 'The Hunger Games'. I have to say that's the best book to movie adaptation I've seen. Mind you, seeing the author also had a hand in the screen play I'm not surprised.

Zorg, I mean Yogi, was left all alone as Katt joined me on a girls night out. It was great. Yogi was unimpressed - even more unimpressed because he's Zorg at the moment. I tried to get a photo but the lighting inside is terrible. So, I will grab one tomorrow morning when there is still daylight.

I had a terrible night. I slept a max of an hour and a half. And, I know it was that long as I was watching the clock as I had an appointment in the morning. Yogi, on the other hand, was more settled and slept almost the whole way through the night without being a pain once. (Normally he'll be annoying for a few mins and then settle - or settle straight away and decide to jump up and down up and down up and down halfway through the night.)

Anyway, I had an appointment which lead me to the supermarket afterwards which is near a petstore. I went and bought Yogi a new toy. We call this one "My god, that's a big rope." I'm sure it will get shortened soon.

Why did you drag me out here?
I was warm and cuddled up with Sissy!

What's this thing that's as big as my head?
Is it a light saber? Or a sword?

I challenge you to a duel!
En guarde!

Well, I did say I wanted to get him a pirate hat...

Cavachons CAN jump (Day 22)

Took Yogi to the dog park yesterday - no photos though.

I'm of the opinion if you have to stop someone who's coming in the gate if they're dog is male and desexed because your dog is rough - then you should be putting him on the leash as you see other people approaching until you establish that your dog is going to be okay. I'm also of the opinion if you see your dog rolling a smaller one and getting his jaws around the throat the response is not "Oh, is he playing too rough?" as the people with the smaller dog leave after only 5 mins.

That's not what a responsible dog owner does. So, Yogi while he did get to blitz as he ran away from the other dog (and did tease him a little) he didn't like being rolled onto his back and flipped into the submissive position.

But, after that we had one of the funniest moment's we've had with Yogi. I was looking at some Cavachon youtube vids trying to think of ways to better market the blog and videos. I started watching one of a dog watching something and barking her head off at it.

Yogi started to reply. Then I called him up onto my lap and played it again. This was the result.

That was pretty funny. He's never stepped off me to step closer to the computer before. I would love to know what he was thinking.

And, as for today's photos we have a few action shots. Although, it does look sort of like Yogi is learning to River Dance.

Many thanks to Yogi's Mum Aka Katt for assisting in this endeavour. It's a lot easier to operate the camera when you're not the one having to hold the ball up in the air and try and press the button on the phone at the exact right time. I'm actually pretty happy with these considering they're just done with an iPhone 4s.

Although, Yogi wasn't even trying today. I've seen him reach Katt's shoulder's when really excited. He's worn out and sleeping spread out by the window.

I know how he feels.
