I a schleepy puppy (Day 37)

I schleepy.

Yogi cuddled right into me last night. Apart from when he thought he could sneak onto the pillows - he was just getting himself more fully on them and comfortable when he woke me up. That's one thing I don't like - animals on the pillows. Up that end of the bed that's fine but not on my pillows. It's a personal thing. I know other people love animals on their pillows.

Took him down the dog park again this evening, (and yesterday. He's a spoilt puppy.)

We saw so many puppies today. Deigo, Pepe, Lucy amongst others. I stopped patting Lucy the Golden Retriever for just a moment and suddenly I was flashing back to when I was a kid and had a dog called Coffee. Mum refused to name the next one biscuits. I think it would have been hysterical yelling out "Coffee!! Biscuits!!"

Anyway, when you stopped patting Coffee and he wasn't ready for you to stop he would slip his head under your hand and sort of toss it with his snout so it would land on the back of his head for more scratches. Ruby did that today.

It's really nice down there. I've met some lovely people. I'm going to try and take Yogi down there more regularly. But, Jax, the Belgian Shepard. He was only there for about 10 mins and he wore the other dogs up. Yogi finally met someone he couldn't keep up with. It was funny watching all of them run around in circles trying to keep up with Jax.

Watching Jack try to keep up was so cute. He's a Maltese and watching him trying to keep up with the others was pretty funny. Also watching Jax jump over him was impressive.

*sigh* Camera again.

Poor Yogi, the flash was bugging him when he was trying to sleep.

It's been such a good day though. He loves it down with his friends. He was all blitzed out though at the end of the hour and a half we were there. Just don't tell Mummy that he's covered in mud again.

Sometimes you have to randsom the tennis ball (Day 35)

Yogi's been full of beans today. He's crashed out on the recliner right now. So cute. Exhausted no doubt from all that chasing.

Umm, Aunty Anne.

 That's, umm, mine.

Yeah, that. That's my ball.
I'll do whatever you want.
Just don't hurt it!

I'd like to announce that 365 Days of Yogi has it's own resident artist, Wolfy. She did this cute little ittybitty icon of Yogi for me. She's a wonderful artist and I can't recommend her highly enough. (Her rates are amazing.) You can see more of her art work on her DA - http://wolfy-t.deviantart.com/

But But, Im better than the cat. (Day 34)

Once again a long day, and Yogi is still being a pain and turning away when I'm trying to get the cuteness that is him.

I have to say though, I prefer him about halfway between this stage and the omg he's matting his fur up he needs a trim. Although, either they sharpened his claws or his fur normally cushions it.

He was such a pain last night. I wanna go out. Why did you open the door? I don't want to go out! Why am I out? I want to come back in. Oh I'm back in but I want to go out... he did not want to be outside at all today. Apart from when Yattie did a Starlock 13 and got himself outside. Then Yogi wanted to be chasing him outside. Their Mum was not very happy - but she reassured Yattie she was still his slave and that he was just as important as the dog. To which Yattie said he wasn't coming inside unless there was grass, liver treats and she got rid of the new dog and if she had to have one he'll have the old one back.

But, alls well that ends well. Both are back inside now.

I'm going for my knot tying badge tonight.

After scouts I'm going down the docks to help
the ships tie up at the dock.

No Photos!! I'm NAKED! (Day 33)

So, it was D-Day.

Yogi looked like this when he went off to the groomers this morning.

Hi Aunty Anne.
No, I'm okay right here.
I don't want to come in.

No, really. I'll stay out here today.
Aren't I cute just the way I am?

So, off he went. Happy coz he does love them down at the vets but a bit worried about what was going to happen I think.

Anyway, I could distract you with some long interesting story about what he's been up to. But, well, not much has been going on. Although, I did try and get video after his bath coz that was just classic. He was running around and weaving around obstacles. Just too hard to get good video in a dark room full of people and chairs that he's ducking around. So pretty much you would have seen a blur of Yogi and then the floor.

So, is that enough of a pause in lieu of a drum roll?

Don't say it.
Don't say a bloody thing.
Or I will bite you.

This is all that's left of the last guy to
make a comment. Consider this a warning.

I just kidding. I wuv you!
I know I'm still adorable.

That's not a rope... This is a ROPE! (Day 32)

Just got back from seeing 'The Hunger Games'. I have to say that's the best book to movie adaptation I've seen. Mind you, seeing the author also had a hand in the screen play I'm not surprised.

Zorg, I mean Yogi, was left all alone as Katt joined me on a girls night out. It was great. Yogi was unimpressed - even more unimpressed because he's Zorg at the moment. I tried to get a photo but the lighting inside is terrible. So, I will grab one tomorrow morning when there is still daylight.

I had a terrible night. I slept a max of an hour and a half. And, I know it was that long as I was watching the clock as I had an appointment in the morning. Yogi, on the other hand, was more settled and slept almost the whole way through the night without being a pain once. (Normally he'll be annoying for a few mins and then settle - or settle straight away and decide to jump up and down up and down up and down halfway through the night.)

Anyway, I had an appointment which lead me to the supermarket afterwards which is near a petstore. I went and bought Yogi a new toy. We call this one "My god, that's a big rope." I'm sure it will get shortened soon.

Why did you drag me out here?
I was warm and cuddled up with Sissy!

What's this thing that's as big as my head?
Is it a light saber? Or a sword?

I challenge you to a duel!
En guarde!

Well, I did say I wanted to get him a pirate hat...

Bones bones bones (Day 30)

Best laid plans and all that.

Yogi wanted to chew on his smelly old bones rather than play with me.

Still I did get a couple of shots. Take note the wookie look will be gone soon.

Get that flash outta my face! (Day 29)

I was planning on doing a big blog entry today but, a nice bout of food poisioning took care of that. It's only been an hour or two since the major symptoms stopped.

Yogi was once again unco-operative but I managed to get a couple of shots - that weren't of his side. I shall endevour to take them outside during the day tomorrow. Hopefully I won't be driving the porcelin bus anymore.

 I got da munchies.

I don't want to do anything.
No, Aunty Anne. I will not look at you.

He's been booked in for a grooming on Friday so you'll be seeing a different dog here come Friday night. (I promise you it will be Yogi just won't look so much like the Yogi you're used to.)

A big shout out to  Yogi and Yattie's vet. (Yogi LOVES them to pieces.) Many thanks to http://www.petuniverse.com.au/ for the great care they take of the animals.

You don't know what it's like being cute! (Day 28)

Yogi once again is having trouble adjusting to being an Internet star.

Turning his head away and crying 'No Photos! No Photos!!'

Tomorrow won't be so crazy so I will endevour to get him at his cutest.

I'm all alone (Day 26)

Yogi's been out in the back yard for a little while. Unimpressed.

He was even more unimpressed yesterday when Katt and I both went out yesterday. He was jumping up and down at the gate barking that we'd forgotted him. We were running errands and he barks to let everyone know it's his car and his family have abandoned him.

So he was a little bit sooky when I went out to get todays photos. He really needs a face trim.

You lefted me outside AGAIN!

 The door opened by itself.
It wants me inside!

 I'm sowwy. I love you.

Cmon. I'm cute. Let me inside please!

No photos please. I'm sleepy (Day 25)

Well, Yogi was a little bit unco-operative today. Far more interested in what Mummy was doing than paying even the tiniest bit of attention to Aunty Anne.

Mum's where the treats come from you see. Aunty Anne just keeps shoving her phone in his face, and playing 'Got ya paws!" Although, it was cute when he was playing it with me as well and putting his paws on mine in retalition to me doing it to him.

Wrestled with an app (annoyed though that I just paid for an app that does the exact same thing as the free one I had. I was hoping this one wouldn't require going through winzip. It does *sigh*. Although, the interface does seem better.)

Anyway, that's not why you're here. On with the photos!

I kinda cheated with the first one. I took it at 11.45 last night, but he was too cute not to share! He was schleepy puppy. Very shchleepy puppy waiting for bed time cuddled up on Katt's pillow on the lounge.

Aunty Anne, it's bed time...

Pengin!

Oh, it's not over till I say so Pengin!

Yogi's Ball (Day 24)

Well, that was a bit dicey. Blogger and I got into a bit of a fisticuffs but I think I finally sorted it out. I love it when I wake up in the morning and Katt's already awake. It means I can open my door Yogi will fly out and he's once again her responsibility.

I annoyed him last night. He was laying on my bed when I decided to play "Got ya paws!" He also hates his ears being petted unless he's tired. When he's tired he loves it. But, when he's not all shleepy puppy he doesn't want them touched. He does however absolutely adore having his chest scratched. I shall have to get a photo of the way he stretches his neck out so you'll get better access.

He's been inside for a few hours and wanted to go out. I thought I should go out with him and get today's blog out of the way as I probably won't have time later.

He ran *straight* to his yellow ball and dragged it over to his mattress. (Which he's decided has too much stuffing.) He earnt the nickname Sir Chews A Lot a while back because he just chews everything he can get his paws on. I'm taking my shoes life in my hands when I leave them under my desk. But apart from one incident with my knock off crocks it's been fine. (Personally I think he was just having a go at a fashion faux pas).

Whatcha doing Aunty Anne?
I got my ball!

I swear I left it RIGHT HERE!

Maybe I just didn't stick my head in far enough.

Hmm, maybe I moved it from this super
secret hiding space. To the OTHER one.

But first I'm gonna stop for a scratch.
Coz even if I'm itchy I'm cute!

Bonus Video: Crazy Katt Lady (or dog lady in this case)

Katt got down on the ground to play with Yogi the other day. I decided I should video it - but it's what she did at the end that made me decide it had to be shared with the world.

I'm still giggling when I think of the imagery.

Let me in! (Day 23)

I've had a busy day, and so has Yogi.

He'd been outside for a couple of hours when I got home and just wanted to play. I asked him where his ball was - so he picked up his rope. I said "No, your ball." He got an "Oh! My ball!" look and ran off - to pick up and bring back the other half of his rope. I laughed and said "No, not your rope, your ball."

Which I then went off and found. He played for a couple of minutes but lost interest pretty quick.

Chewing on my ball.
Chewing on my ball.
Hi ho the dairy-o I'm chewing on my ball.

Yep. That's my ball. What you want me to do?

 You threw my ball.
That's nice.

Then I decided I would head inside, Yogi was busy chewing on something so I thought I'll just sneak around the side and see if he notices. One blur later... I realised that he had.

So, you're going inside?

I'm going in too! I am! I am!

Just as soon as you open the door.

Cavachons and puppys first!
Women and Children Later.

It's okay, I am a gentlepuppy.
I'll open the door for you Aunty Anne.

He's sleeping at the moment. Tuckered out. Been a long day for such a little puppy.

I must try and find him a pirate hat. I think that would really suit him!
